Our American Black Walnut retains all of its natural colouring. Its Latin name is (Juglans Nigra) and forms part of the recycle chain by using finger jointing smaller sections into a larger panel. This process allows the natural features of the wood to show through including its natural colour variations. The face of the wood is free from defects however minor processing defects are permitted on the underside.
This product is delivered untreated to allow for customisation on site to your own requirements. The product has to be oiled with Danish oil before and after installation. Please order your oil at time of purchase. Features are as follows:
- Sanding: Faces are sanded to a minimum of 120 grit.
- Moisture content: Average 8% to 10%.
- Stave width: 40mm.
