Maple wood is famous for exhibiting rare figures and patterns within the grain: wavy, curly, quilted, blistered, fiddle-back burl and bird's-eye patterns are commonly found in this species. With white to creamy sapwood and creamy white to pinkies tinge to the heartwood. Maple wood is also extensively sought after for constructing bowling alleys and dance floors. It'll look stunning in your kitchen, even if you don't dance!
