• Apollo® Quicktops® Granite worktops - 10mm solid stone surface (20mm in some colours) supported by MDF to create 40mm worktop.
• The long front edge and 2 short ends of Quicktops® Granite Worktops are finished with a polished single bevel profile.
• The front and rear long edges and 1 short edge of Quicktops® Granite Breakfast Bars are finished with a polished single bevel profile.
• Quicktops® Granite Island Units are finished with a polished single bevel profile on all 4 edges.

Technical Information

• If Quicktops® Granite worktops are captive between 2 walls allow 3mm gap for expansion (1mm/mtr).
• Maximum unsupported overhang 300mm.
• Worktops to be supported every 600mm in a linear run.
• Cut outs must be at least 50mm from the front and back edges.
• There must be at least 130mm between cut outs.
• Complete any plastering or tiling after worktop installation.
• Always use chopping boards when preparing or chopping food.
• Wipe up spills on your Quicktops® Granite worktops immediately to avoid dull patches or marks appearing.
• Although Granite is heat resistant, always use pan rests.
• To avoid the risk of thermal shock cracking the worktops use aluminium thermal insulation tape around hob cut outs.
• Where an appliance such as a dishwasher or cooker is located beneath the worktop, use an aluminium foil membrane on the underside of the worktop to deflect heat and moisture.
• Where drainer grooves are located the surface of the worktops may be duller in appearance.
• Apollo® Quicktops® Granite is a natural product and therefore variations in colour, pattern and veining can be expected in your worktops.
• Fissures, spots, pit marks or blotches may be present in the Granite due to the natural flaws in rock formation.
