The Apollo range of solid surfaces are an amazing DIY or installed, affordable compromise if Corian®, Staron or LG Hi Max are proving a bit out of budget. Once installed, Apollo Solid surface looks the same as Corian® type tops, performs the same as Corian® type tops, joints are near seamless and the sink can be moulded in as integral to the design. This solid surface top is both low cost and high quality. An inspiring and beautiful addition to any kitchen.
Why do solid surface tops cost less - Apollo solid surface, for example, consists of a 6mm thick solid surface applied and bonded to 35mm chipboard with a laminate balancer to the underside. Corian® is 13mm. Apollo Solid surface, is tough, durable and long lasting despite these difference in material specification. It is impact resistant, easy to clean, maintain and repair in the event of a scratch or chip.
Kitchen Worktops Plus can also insert a white Apollo solid surface sink to your worktop completing the professional and elegant finish with seamless joints.
Although a template is not required, the service is available if you would prefer to leave your worktop sizing and installation in the hands of the experts.
There is the choice of 12 colours in this range.
Cut-outs sizes
- Minimum of 130mm is required between two hob cut-outs.
- Minimum 80mm required between hob and sink cut-outs.
- Minimum 50mm is required between two sink cut-outs.
- Sink cut-outs are placed from the worktop front edge.
